He graduated from the Nara Medical University at Nara, Japan, where he has been a professor for over 35 years, in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. In this same institution, he received his PhD in Orthopaedic Surgery of Foot and Ankle. Additionally, he has published many articles in the areas of Orthopaedic, Arthritis, and, Rehabilitation, amongst others.
