He graduated from the School of Medicine at the Kaohsiung Medical University of Taiwan. At the Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital, he has held the position of Chief of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Director of the Division of Adult Reconstruction Surgery, and has also been an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, at the Kaohsiung Medical University. He is currently the Vice President of the Taiwanese Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
